How to read this log
- Correction: a figure or rule on the site was wrong and has been fixed. The entry says what was wrong and what source settled it.
- Figure change: the world changed (a rate decision, a Budget, a new fee) and the page was updated to match.
- New page: a reference page or calculator was published, with its figures checked on that date.
- Re-checked: the figures were checked against their sources and found unchanged; only the review date moved.

Statutory figures aligned to the SARS Budget 2026 Tax Guide
Nine figures that had been carried from the previous year were corrected to the 2026/27 values in the SARS Budget 2026 Tax Guide and the Minister of Finance's Budget Speech of 25 February 2026: the annual retirement contribution deduction cap, the tax-free savings annual limit, the capital gains annual exclusion, the primary residence exclusion, the small business asset exclusion and its asset ceiling, the year-of-death exclusion, the VAT registration threshold and the single discretionary allowance. 49 occurrences across 15 pages.
