How to add it to your site
- Copy the code Use the copy button in the Embed code box so nothing is lost to line wrapping. It is a single iframe tag and it does not need anything else.
- Open the page you want it on In WordPress add a Custom HTML block, in Wix use the Embed HTML element, in Squarespace use a Code block, and on a hand-built site paste it straight into your HTML.
- Paste and publish The widget appears immediately. If you see an empty space instead, your editor has stripped the iframe tag, which the HTML embed guide explains how to work around.
- Adjust the look if you want to Add the parameters in the table below to the iframe URL to change the theme, the accent colour or the height. Nothing needs to be configured on our side.
Customisation options

Parameters are added to the iframe URL as a normal query string, for example
/embed/sda-fia-allowance-tracker-calculator.html?theme=dark&accent=1A56DB&header=0. The

Why embed the SDA & FIA Offshore Allowance Tracker
South Africans can move R2 million a year offshore under the single discretionary allowance and a further R10 million under the foreign investment allowance, and keeping count across transfers is harder than it sounds. The widget tracks usage of both allowances through the year and shows what remains. Offshore investing guides, forex transfer services and emigration pages all have a place for it.
What the widget calculates
This tracker shows how much of your R2 million annual Single Discretionary Allowance (SDA) you've used, and how much of the additional R10 million Foreign Investment Allowance (FIA) remains available if you need to transfer more.
Enter the total you've already transferred offshore this calendar year, and the tracker shows your remaining SDA headroom and total remaining capacity including the FIA.
